Happy Birthday… Donald

No, June is not the month for celebrating Donald Duck’s birthday.  But there is one Donald in the news that does have a birthday in June.  Happy Birthday to our President, Donald Trump! BUT why would I mention this to YOU? Well, since you have been kind enough to be a part of our business, I wanted to take the opportunity to give YOU a gift on Donald Trump's birthday.  I am sure Mr. Trump doesn’t mind.  He seems to have plenty of stuff, so I’d like to celebrate his birthday by giving you (and those you know), my unconditional lifetime real estate guarantee:  That You and Any One You Refer to Me to Sell The Place they Call Home, Will Be Utterly Overjoyed with the Experience and Outcome!
My team and I are committed to your satisfaction as well as your friends, neighbors, family and associates satisfaction.  So this life time pledge to do a better than good job for you and those you care about is a gift we are happy and eager to give.
Speaking of gifts…
We pledge to…

Mother Always Said You Should…
My Mom used to tell me repeatedly to do this and do that, not to do this and not to do that.  ALL, I recall, very valuable advice. Looking back on it, I can say she was, and still is, a very wise woman.
Time reveals, in fact, just about every caring Mother is a Wise Woman.  I can see why we carve out a special day each year to acknowledge Mothers.  So here is a shout out to all Mom’s – Happy Mothers Day!!
And not to be outdone, my wife is a fabulous mother to our son. She provides just the right amount of loving support he needs to be happy, independent, confident, and, at this moment, care free.
For ALL those whose Mom is no longer with us, may you remember the best about them. In addition to that, there are also many who never knew their Mom, due to unfortunate circumstances. I hope someone stepped in to provide a mother's role in your life. They too deserve a Happy Mother’s Day!
Regardless, we can celebrate this Mother's Day knowi…

TAX Day – Ugh!!

I recently read where we were working Jan. 1 through June 30th of each year, just to pay all of our taxes. In Canada, add another month or two. After that, you keep all you make. Prior to that, 100% goes to the government in some form or fashion to pay for some kind of government worker, work program, social program, defense, project, health care, common good, common bad, etc. Whatever you want to call it, April 18th is TAX day; the deadline for filing your federal income taxes in the U.S.A. Canucks have to file by April 30th. Why April?

After the 16th Amendment was passed (giving Congress the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes) the first tax day was approximately one year after the 16th Amendment was enacted, March 1, 1914. Eventually it got pushed to April to give IRS employees more time to complete the workload. Some speculate it was done so the government could hold on to refunds longer, allowing it to earn more interest for them.

Hopefully the Groundhog got it Right…
All I can say is WOW!  I am sitting here at my computer thinking of how grateful I am for the value so many, like you, bring to my real estate business. Looking out my office window and there is not a cloud in the sky. Temp forecast at 76 degrees today for the high.  Spring is Springing!
For many across this great country it’s still COLD, gray, and snowy! Others, never see a snowflake all winter long.  It very well could be COLD today right here in Southern California, but it’s not.  One thing is for sure, this winter season is coming to an end.  It does every year without fail.
Just like the weather seasons come and seasons go, so do the seasons of life.  I’m sure you have noticed, as I have, the older I get, the faster the seasons move by.  These “seasons of life” go by so fast. My hope is that you enjoy each one, or at least grow from each one.  Yes, some of life’s seasons will be HOT and others will be COLD, some high and some low.  The lows w…

The Love Doctor is in…

Not that I am the Dr. of Love or anything like that… But then again, most probably like to believe they are.  After all - love is a many-splendored thing.  When my wife and I were planning our wedding back in 2007, she suggested we reveal to all in attendance words that would convey our LOVE for each other. My favorite love description is from 1 Corinthians 13:Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and alwaysperseveres.
It doesn’t matter your ‘religious persuasion’ to say, “Yeah, that IS a great description of LOVE”. I am talking LOVE because February is the Love month, rightly celebrated with Valentine’s Day.
I could go on with all kinds of examples like – Love Your Neighbor as Yourself, even go all business on you w…

Exciting New Year’s Resolution…
As a fellow Lover of Holiday Time, I wanted to write you this personal letter and share with you some exciting news for the New Year.
It seems most people establish New Year’s resolutions but, for whatever reason, they fall short of keeping them.  Each year, I highlight a great book that helped me and my team dramatically improve our follow through on achieving important goals, and I wanted to share that with you – as sort of a Happy New Year After Christmas Gift; more on the book in a moment.

Some of your friends, neighbors, associates or relatives may have a New Year’s resolution to make a move.  Well - we can help them with that, help you at the same time and help a very worthy cause.

For the month of January, we will guarantee, in writing, the sell of an area home for 100% of Market Value or I’ll Pay the Difference.*
They Outline the goals, we agree to deliver, if we don’t, we pay the penalty.  So, who do you know that is considering making a move tha…
